This inspiring day was spent playing in the studio to create the feeling of movement in Leah’s portraits. With a clean and modern style we combined wardrobe to create some epic movement shots! I love it when a client and I come together with a similar goal, and are on the same page as far as styling for a shoot. We can combine silk camisoles with torn jeans and real ballet shoes – which Leah could actually use – for real! Or, we come together and build out the white suit and bralette look. And then I get to play with light, and directing the model to capture the movement at just the right moment. It is magical how the stars just align sometimes, to bring people together in the right place and time.
