WOW, did Susan ever bring energy into the studio! We could have played for hours on end. I had my own personal dancer in the studio ready to tap, pirouette and jump at the flash of the camera. During the shoot, I got to know more about Susan and learned that she is at such an exciting point of her life where she is growing internally, professionally, and in her relationship with her partner.  This made everything even more exciting because what better way to capture this life milestone than in portraits. I wanted to capture every essence of Susan, her hobbies, her body and her charm.  I did this by creating looks (with the help of Jennifer Bellamy) that embodied Susan. We started with a natural dance look which made her comfortable, and allowed her to open herself up to new ideas! 

Susan's shoot was such a fun time in the studio and I hope I will get to work with her again in the future!
