Thank you for your interest in one-on-one mentoring! An experience custom designed for YOU. Whether you are relatively new to photography or an experienced photographer looking to enhance your skills, one-on-one mentoring is a valuable experience which will benefit your photography business, and I am here to help!

I have availability in the next few weeks in the afternoons and early evenings, so I feel confident we can find a time that works for you. If, for some reason, our availability does not match up, I will be happy to refund your payment. Once you have scheduled your session, I will send you a short questionnaire to help me understand your goals and prepare for our session. Feel free to email me with any questions at

Examples of topics we can discuss:

  • Achieving the best image straight out of camera
  • Studio lighting
  • Camera settings and angles to the art of posing
  • Post-production in Photoshop
  • Running a successful portrait photography business

Prior to our mentoring session we will make a plan to ensure that it will be an effective, efficient use of your time and money. Mentoring is priced by the hour. I usually recommend a minimum of two hours to allow enough time to fully cover everything you need, but hey – if you’re old enough to drive a car, you’re old enough to decide how much time you need. 😉

Meet your mentor…

For the past 11 years, I have managed a photography business. I specialize in studio and location portraits, including newborn and maternity portraiture, professional head shots and women’s glamour. I shoot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III in my custom-built home studio. Prior to being a photographer, I taught elementary school for 8 years and in my spare time, I enjoy being active – which usually means running around after my children (typically followed by wine and editing).

Much of my learning has been through mentoring workshops with numerous award winning Australian and International photographers. Some of the most valuable information I have learned in photography has come from these mentoring sessions, and I am eager to return the favour.
